Demoted?

Our 2 1/2-year-old is growing up. No longer do we hear the happy sounds of Dada and Mama in our house. Now, everything is Dad and, though less often, Mom. I mean, where does he get this? I think I was at least eight or nine before I switched from Mommy and Daddy to just plain Mom and Dad. What is the world coming to? Thank goodness we have another one coming...
